Terms & Conditions

Booking Contract

We don’t want to have lots of rules and regulations for your stay, but sometimes to avoid doubt it is better to be clear about expectations.

Your Booking

  • Group Bookings of 10 or more adults are not accepted (family groups accepted). We don’t want hen/stag groups. We are just not a party campsite.
  • There is plenty space between pitches. We limit the number of guests to ensure you have room to relax
  • You cannot take you car/motorbike to the accommodation. We have a Quad Bike and trailer to assist with your stuff. Parking is only available in specified areas.
  • We are relatively flexible about arrival and departure time, where we can be. But as a guide, arrival for Pod/Bell Tent is between 4pm and 9pm, with departure by 10am. The camp pitches arrival can be earlier with departure by 11am. Please do keep us informed as we are a small campsite and do not have a designated reception area with staff.
  • For Pad/Bell Tent: Full payment is expected a minimum of 1 week in advance, but we do have the ability accept Bank Transfer, Credit Card and Cash payments on site for other services such as Camping, Eggs or Pizza.

Cancellation Policy

  • If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please give as much notice as possible so that someone else has the chance to book.
  • No refunds within 2 days of arrival date

Amendments

  • Bookings cannot be amended with 2 days of arrival date

General Terms/Rules

  • Please register on arrival. We are a small campsite with no designated reception so please use the mobile numbers available in the contact us page.
  • Under 18s must be accompanied by parents/guardians
  • Late arrivals must notify us as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours, after which we reserve the right to relet the accommodation
  • No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures
  • Dogs are accepted in the Pod only, and must be kept on a lead and supervised at all times. They cannot be left in the accommodation alone, as this is really unfair to the dog. Please consider other guests and our animals if you are bringing a dog. We do not accept dogs listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act
  • Public areas are non smoking
  • Quiet hours must be respected between 10pm and 7am. We want everyone to enjoy the surroundings.
  • Radio/Music must be kept at a low volume at all times. We are a quiet space to enjoy nature
  • We reserve the right to terminate or deny access to guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
  • We provide fire pits and would ask that you use these in the locations you find them. BBQs are permitted and we ask that these are used off the ground and supervised at all times. Please do not throw hot coals into the bushes. We had a large fire when someone did this.
  • If you do have visitors we ask that they leave before 10pm
  • The camping pitches do not have access to any shower facilities. There is a beautiful but cold stream if that helps.

Liability

  • Guests need to think about their own safety for themselves and their property. We cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to property or injury during your stay.
  • We will do our very best to make sure we deliver the services your have looked forward to. But there may be things beyond our control like sever weather, power failures, industrial disputes and more, that may prevent us from fulfilling our obligations. Under those circumstances we cannot be held liable for losses, but we will always endeavour to deliver what we have said we will.
